Masters Women Shine at RNR Arizona Marathon

Linda Sommers Smith qualified for the Olympic Trails with her fourth place finish in 2:41:05. Susan Loken was also under the qualifying standard, with her 7th place time of 2:44:26. Loken had already qualified for the Trials, but was looking for an “A” qualifier.

Past Olympians Rule Masters races at Aramco Houston Half Marathon

Sean Wade, who ran in the 1996 Olympic marathon for New Zealand, ran away with the men’s masters title in 1:07:43. Colleen De Reuck, a four-time Olympian for South Africa and the USA took home the women’s crown in 1:14:55.

Tracy Lokken and Susan Loken Win Marathon National Championships at Twin Cities

Tracy Lokken won the USATF Master’s Marathon with his 2:29:00, Danny Martinez and Dennis Simonaitis rounded out the top three in the championship race. Susan Loken won the women’s title in 2:48:35, with Doreen McCoubrie and Meghan Arbogast taking 2nd and 3rd.

Khattabi & Simonaitis win at Falmouth

Elarbi Khattabi of Morocco, edged Dennis Simonaitis, 35:24 to 35:35 for the masters win. Sean Wade was 3rd in 35:47. Michelle Simonaitis took the womens masters title in 40:12.

Hussein & Sultanova-Zndno Take Masters at Peachtree

Mbarak Hussein took home the master’s title at the Peachtreet 10k with a fantastic 29:21. Dennis Simonaitis was second in 30:58. Firaya Sultanova-Zndno edged Sylvia Mosqueda in the women’s division 34:01 to 34:07.

Simonaitis Tops Masters at Fifth Third Bank

Dennis Simonaitis of Draper, UT took home the masters title at the Fifth Third Bank 25k in 1:21:28. Stephanie Lucke was the top master’s female with her 1:31:08 performance. Firaya Sultanova-Zhdan, 46, had the top age-graded performance on the women’s side. Her 1:34:05 scored a 91.1 age-graded.

Klevan and McCoubrie Win Masters at Broad Street Run

45 year old Fred Klevan won the Master’s title at the Broad Street Run 10 mile with a time of 52:23 a 92.3 age graded performance. Doreen McCoubrie, also 45, took the women’s crown in 58:52, which rates a 91.20.
